CLP-Cliperton strengthens banking and bond finance with arrival of Damien Le Mouël

Damien Le Mouël has more than 10 years of experience in banking and bond financing. He advises developers, investors and financial institutions on the structuring of transactions, negotiation of credit documentation and the establishment of associated securities, acting on both borrower and lender sides. His practice notably covers infrastructure and renewable energy project finance (solar, wind, hydroelectric), as well as real estate financings and LBOs, in France and internationally. He joins CLP-Cliperton at partner level.
His arrival strengthens the firm’s financing group, in particular on banking matters and alongside lender-side work, complementing CLP-Cliperton’s existing M&A, corporate, tax and regulatory expertise. The appointment forms part of the firm’s broader development strategy in response to the evolving challenges of the energy and infrastructure sectors and follows the arrival of Yves Pons in early 2025, who is specialized in public business law and project finance.
