Fidal Avocats strengthens private wealth tax team with the arrival of Pierre-Axel Freour

An avocat since 2013, Pierre-Axel Freour brings solid expertise in private wealth taxation, international tax and tax litigation. He advises French and international clients on high-stakes matters including tax and estate planning, business structuring and transmission (notably Dutreil pact arrangements), and the restructuring and organisation of private and professional assets. His practice also covers assistance during tax audits and disputes, regularisation procedures with the tax authorities, the structuring of executive and manager remuneration, and support for international mobility situations (transfers of residence, impatriate regimes, and non-resident investments in France).
Prior to joining Fidal, Freour was managing partner (associé gérant) of Freour Avocats, a niche firm dedicated to private wealth taxation. He previously spent more than five years at CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats in the international wealth tax department and gained earlier experience at Andersen Tax & Legal and Stehlin & Associés.
Pierre-Axel Freour holds a Master 2 in tax law from Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas, a Mastère spécialisé in international law and management from ESCP Europe conducted in partnership with the City Law School of London, and obtained the CAPA from the École de Formation du Barreau de Paris.
