Herald strengthens public business law advisory and litigation practice
"Herald hires partner Martin Tissier, joined by associates Guillemette Brière and Dimitra Tzitziou, to bolster its public business law advisory and litigation practice and support infrastructure projects."
Martin Tissier joins Herald as a partner with more than twenty years of experience. He specialises in public procurement law and economic regulation, notably in the network industries (electronic communications, energy, public transport), aeronautics and defence, and works in both advisory and litigation before administrative and judicial courts and independent administrative authorities. He also advises on state aid, mixed-economy entities, local government law and their public establishments, and on urban planning and environmental law, and assists local authorities and private operators in their interactions with the public sector. Prior to joining Herald, he worked at leading firms including Bird & Bird, founded the public law boutique B.O.T Avocats (2010–2018) and in 2018 joined the firm Bersay as a partner. He advises a diversified French clientele including public actors, operators linked to the public sector, electronic communications operators and institutional investors.
Guillemette Brière and Dimitra Tzitziou join Herald as associates. Their arrival alongside Martin Tissier will enable Herald to structure a dedicated unit to accelerate the development of its public business law practice and infrastructure financing offering.
