Ooslo appoints Ludovic Genet to create tax practice

Ludovic Genet is admitted to the Paris Bar since 2016. He holds a law degree in tax law from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Master 2 in Applied Taxation from Université Paris-Est Créteil. Genet spent his entire career at Arsene, which he joined in 2015 and where he was appointed senior manager in 2025 after more than eleven years at the firm. He is joining Ooslo as a partner from his prior role as senior manager at Arsene.
At Arsene he developed a recognised practice in transactional, patrimonial and entrepreneurial taxation, combining technical expertise with a strong understanding of clients’ business issues. Genet advises on transactional tax matters in the context of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, LBOs and group reorganisations; he also assists founders, managers and executives on personal and entrepreneurial tax issues (management packages, BSPCE, carried interest, international mobility, succession) and handles tax audits and litigation. He is a member of the IACF (Institut des Avocats Conseils Fiscaux) and the IFA (International Fiscal Association).
Ooslo’s founders, Edouard Waels and Marion Fabre, said that integrating a tax practice is an important step in the firm’s development and that Genet’s technical expertise, business understanding and entrepreneurial spirit fit the firm’s project. With his arrival Ooslo now counts eight partners and ten staff working across corporate, M&A, private equity, employment, commercial law, IP/IT, data, real estate and tax.
