Fromont Briens said the new department responds to a more demanding regulatory environment and growing corporate needs, particularly in employment relations where personal data processing is central to HR practices (employee management, digital tools, sensitive data). The offering is intended to provide both strategic and operational support by articulating GDPR requirements with the specifics of social law. The department covers compliance, data governance, risk management, project support and the integration of data issues into social and HR policies.
Before joining Fromont Briens, Giliane Pierre served as a project manager in personal data protection at AÉSIO mutuelle (Aéma Groupe) in the insurance sector. She has also worked as a jurist in personal data protection, notably at Euronews. She holds a Master 2 in Business Law and Intellectual Property from Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 (2019) and completed specialized training, including with the CNIL.
