Stéphanie Barré-Lesauvage and Philippe Mettoux join Vae Solis Communications as associate directors

Stéphanie Barré-Lesauvage is a communication professional with more than thirty years of experience and is recognised for her expertise in corporate communication and business transformation. She began her career at Société Générale within the communications department, then worked at Havas on financial operations and spent twelve years at Publicis Consultants as director of consulting and then director of development. Most recently she served at the agency CLAI as Vice-President associate, where she worked on strategic advice, media relations, crisis communication and coaching. Throughout her career she has advised executives and organisations in high-media- and institutionally-exposed contexts and has supported major groups such as Groupama, Engie, Arcelor, Michelin, Lafarge, Société Générale and Geodis, as well as mid-sized companies owned by investment funds and public bodies.
Philippe Mettoux is a former magistrate, senior civil servant and company executive who brings experience in institutional, legal and governance matters. A graduate of the École nationale de la magistrature, he began his career as a public prosecutor before joining the Directorate of Criminal Affairs and Pardons at the Ministry of Justice, where he supervised compensation mechanisms for victims of disasters and collective accidents. He was then appointed secretary general of the Central Service for the Prevention of Corruption and took part in the French delegation that negotiated the United Nations Convention against Corruption (the Mérida Convention). Over his career he has served as adviser to several ministers of Justice and the Interior and to the Prime Minister, was appointed conseiller d’État and represented France on the board of the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights. From 2013 to 2026 he served as legal director and director of compliance of the SNCF group and is a recognised international mediator and arbitrator for more than fifteen years.
