APFL Partners strengthens its Dispute and Arbitration practice with arrival of Minh Nguyen

Minh Nguyen brings more than fifteen years of experience and is recognised for her expertise in commercial litigation, international arbitration and labour law. She advises and represents multinational groups and Vietnamese companies in complex, high-stakes disputes before major arbitral institutions including the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC). She also regularly handles large-scale employment disputes involving senior executives and strategic risk management matters across sectors such as manufacturing, consumer goods and regulated industries. Before joining APFL Partners, Minh served as Special Counsel and Head of the Dispute and Arbitration practice at one of Vietnam’s leading firms specialised in arbitration and dispute resolution. She previously practiced for more than ten years with multinational companies and leading international firms, notably Gide Loyrette Nouel and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. A Fulbright scholar, Minh holds an LL.M. in international commercial arbitration from Pepperdine University and completed Harvard Law School’s intensive programme in international commercial arbitration in 2023. She is a member of the Young SIAC Committee (YSIAC), a member of the Scientific Council of VIAC, represents Vietnam at the Asia‑Pacific Forum for International Arbitration (AFIA), and since 2019 has served as a lecturer for the joint Master in Civil Law organised by the University of Economics and Law (Vietnam) and Paris 1 Panthéon‑Sorbonne. Minh is individually ranked in the Chambers Asia‑Pacific Guide 2026 for Dispute Resolution. In her role at APFL Partners she will lead the development of the Dispute and Arbitration practice in Vietnam and work closely with LPA Law teams in Asia and Europe to support clients in cross‑border litigation, international arbitration and strategic risk management.
