Vincent Desry joins Signature Litigation to lead Paris business criminal law and investigations practice

Vincent Desry has more than ten years of experience in business criminal law, with particular expertise in its international dimensions. He served for two years as a partner in the Paris office of Cohen & Gresser after eight years at the firm Temime. He acts for companies, executives, public figures and international clients, in both defence and as civil party, and has participated in several high-profile matters, notably the Bygmalion case in which he recently represented former President Nicolas Sarkozy.
His practice covers offences such as fraud, money laundering, corruption, tax fraud, misuse of corporate assets, breach of trust, product compliance, and procedures for seizure and foreign confiscation. He intervenes at all stages of criminal procedure, including complaint filing, preliminary inquiry, judicial investigation, hearings, execution of sentences and international mutual legal assistance.
Alix Crochetón and Alix Meslier de Rocan join Signature Litigation with Vincent Desry as collaborators.
Thomas Rouhette, managing partner of the Paris office, said the arrival reinforces the Paris offering by bringing leading expertise in business criminal law and internal investigations and noted the complementarity with the firm’s development in London. Mark Beardsworth, partner in charge of the firm’s business criminal law and investigations department in London, described the appointment as an important step for the firm’s cross-border practice, establishing an on-the-ground presence in France and adding depth to the team.
With this appointment, Signature Litigation now counts eight partners in Paris and 28 partners worldwide.
