Ashurst Perkins Coie strengthens its Technology practice in Paris
"Ashurst Perkins Coie hires Stéphane Lemarchand and Jeanne Dauzier as partners in its Paris Tech Transactions practice; they will work on technology, IT transactions and AI governance, joined by counsel Aurélia Pons."
Stéphane Lemarchand brings more than 25 years of experience advising national and multinational companies on strategic digital and IT transformation projects, and on complex technology litigation. He joins Ashurst Perkins Coie as a partner in the Tech Transactions practice. He began his career as an associé at Bird & Bird (2001–2010) before joining DLA Piper in 2010, where he co-led the global Intellectual Property & Technology practice and sat on the firm’s executive committee from 2019. He holds a DESS in Computer Law (Paris XI) and a DESS in Industrial Property (Paris II).
Jeanne Dauzier has over 15 years of experience advising French and international clients on intellectual property, cloud computing, outsourcing and AI governance, including compliance with the EU AI Act. She joins Ashurst Perkins Coie as a partner in the Tech Transactions practice, arriving from DLA Piper, where she was promoted to partner in 2023 and named Co‑chair of the International AI group after starting at that firm in 2011. She holds an LLB from King’s College London, a maîtrise in private law (Paris I) and a Master 2 in Law of Digital Creations (Paris XI).
Aurélia Pons, appointed counsel, will reinforce the team’s technology litigation capability alongside the three associates who join with them.
