King & Spalding recruits Thomas Voisin to bolster international arbitration in Paris

Thomas Voisin is a recognised figure in international arbitration and was, until recently, Managing Partner of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan’s Paris office. He joins King & Spalding as a partner and will contribute to the firm’s international arbitration practice.
He represents European and international clients in complex commercial, construction and investment disputes, particularly those governed by French law or other civil law jurisdictions. He has experience of proceedings conducted under major institutional rules, including the ICC, ICSID, LCIA and UNCITRAL, as well as in ad hoc proceedings. He has handled more than 100 arbitrations across sectors such as hydrocarbons, energy, construction, transport, mining and aviation, mainly arising from contracts or projects in Europe and North Africa.
He holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Oxford and a licence and master from Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas, with a specialisation in European law, litigation and arbitration.
