Squire Patton Boggs strengthens Manchester Pensions Practice with senior hires

"Squire Patton Boggs has appointed Helen May as a director in its Manchester Pensions Practice; she joins from Eversheds Sutherland and will work on occupational pensions. Amanda Small and Alison White also joined in July."

Helen May has joined Squire Patton Boggs as a director in the firm’s Manchester Pensions Practice, alongside recent Manchester arrivals Amanda Small and Alison White.

Helen trained, qualified and spent more than 12 years at Squire Patton Boggs before moving to Eversheds Sutherland. She joins Squire Patton Boggs from Eversheds Sutherland as a director. Helen advises trustees and employers on all types of pension arrangements, helping clients navigate the legal and regulatory framework governing occupational pension schemes. She advises on complex pension issues and has particular sector expertise in consumer, financial services, manufacturing and the public sector.

Amanda Small, a senior pensions lawyer who leads the firm’s Pensions team in Manchester, joined Squire Patton Boggs in July from Eversheds Sutherland.

Alison White, also a senior pensions lawyer, joined the Manchester team in July from Eversheds Sutherland.

The firm has added three senior pensions lawyers this year: Amanda Small and Alison White in Manchester and Gemma Hanley in Leeds.
