Gabra brings experience advising on infrastructure, energy, construction and dispute resolution matters in Brazil and abroad. He joins Mattos Filho as a partner and will work across the firm’s Infrastructure & Energy and Litigation & Arbitration practices.
Gabra previously worked at Mattos Filho for six years before relocating to the Middle East in 2023. While abroad he spent a significant part of his career advising on infrastructure projects in the Middle East, the United States and Europe, broadening his expertise in complex contractual structures, risk management and dispute resolution linked to strategic projects.
Gabra holds a law degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and an LL.M. in International Economic Law from Stanford Law School. His arrival brings Mattos Filho’s partner count to 143. The firm operates across more than 45 areas of law with offices in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Brasília, an international office in New York, and regional desks covering different global regions.
