Joanna rejoins Norton Rose Fulbright from Deloitte, where she served as a partner and built and led Deloitte’s award-winning UK digital regulation legal practice. At Deloitte she was also the global legal lead for its multidisciplinary digital regulatory offering, supporting major global corporations in transforming and managing intersecting regulatory regimes affecting digital business. She trained and previously practised at Norton Rose Fulbright and will return to the firm’s technology disputes practice, working closely with colleagues across regulatory, investigations, competition, data and cyber teams.
Joanna specialises in digital regulation and technology disputes, with extensive experience advising major global technology and platform clients on regulatory governance, risk and compliance, and enforcement and litigation. Her work covers the full lifecycle of digital regulation, including online safety, digital services and AI-related regulatory frameworks, risk assessments, regulatory engagement, high-stakes investigations, and related follow-on disputes and group litigation claims. She has developed a client portfolio that includes prominent international technology platforms and consumer-facing businesses and has led multidisciplinary teams on complex cross-border regulatory matters. Through her work at Deloitte in digital regulation compliance and transformation, she brings combined legal and consultancy experience and a practical perspective on meeting global regulatory challenges.
