Francisco de Asís García joins RCD as tax partner
"RCD has appointed Francisco de Asís García as partner in its tax law team. He will work on tax proceedings and taxpayer defence."
García specialises in tax proceedings before the tax authorities, acting in defence of taxpayers. Over the course of his career he has handled appeals before Economic and Administrative Courts, the High Courts of Justice, the National High Court, the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union. He joins RCD with the seniority of partner.
García holds a degree in Law and Business Administration and Management from the University of Murcia, a Master’s Degree in Advanced and Specialised Legal Research from the same institution and a Master’s Degree in Tax Consultancy from ENAE Business School. He also holds a PhD in Law and was a finalist for the Fernando Sainz de Bujanda National Thesis Prize in Financial and Tax Law.
Alongside his legal practice, García pursues an academic and research career. He is a research fellow at the Chair of Regional Finance and the Regional Finance Observatory of the Region of Murcia and a member of the Professional Forum on Law and Business Administration and Management. He teaches on the Master’s in Tax Consultancy, the Master’s in Financial Management and the Master’s in International Trade at ENAE Business School, has spoken at courses and conferences at various universities and institutions, and has authored publications and articles in legal and sector journals.
