Pinsent Masons appoints Shanelle Irani as partner in Dubai

Irani is triple-qualified and admitted to practice in India, New York and England & Wales. She joins Pinsent Masons from Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP (WilmerHale) in London, where she served as Counsel. Irani advises on complex, multi-jurisdictional commercial disputes with a focus on energy and natural resources, financial services, defence and security, construction and life sciences, and has particular expertise in disputes with an India nexus. She enters Pinsent Masons with the seniority of partner, having previously held the role of Counsel at WilmerHale.
Pinsent Masons’ appointment of Irani follows that of Cem Kalelioglu, who earlier this year also joined the firm from WilmerHale as a partner in the international arbitration team in London.
