Hogan Lovells Cadwalader appoints Adil Hussain as partner in Dubai

Adil Hussain has joined Hogan Lovells Cadwalader’s Dubai office as a partner.

Hussain joins the firm’s banking & loan finance practice from Baker McKenzie, where he served as global head of Islamic finance and led the firm’s banking & finance practice in the region. He advises on conventional, Shariah-compliant and multi-sourced financing matters across the Middle East and internationally. Having worked across the UAE, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, his advisory work covers international and regional financial institutions, corporate borrowers and other market participants on financing transactions.

Hussain’s arrival follows a series of hires as Hogan Lovells Cadwalader expands its corporate & finance practice in the Middle East, including M&A partners Simon Rahimzada and Vasi Papadopoulos and private equity & funds partner Dounia Mansour in Dubai, and M&A partner Walid Salib in Riyadh.
