Nixon Peabody adds bankruptcy and restructuring partner Frank A. Oswald

Oswald brings decades of Chapter 11 bankruptcy experience and focuses his practice on bankruptcy, out-of-court restructurings, and creditors’ rights matters. He has represented a wide range of clients across Chapter 11 proceedings, including Chapter 11 debtors, bankruptcy trustees, creditors’ committees, secured and unsecured creditors, distressed investors, fiduciaries, and asset acquirers, and has led or played key roles in many significant Chapter 11 cases and distressed transactions.
Oswald’s recognitions include selection by Super Lawyers as a “Top 100” restructuring attorney in the New York Metro Area and listings in Chambers USA, Best Lawyers in America, and Lawdragon 500. His professional memberships include the Eastern District of New York’s Bankruptcy Judges’ Chapter 11 Lawyers Advisory Committee, the Board of the Turnaround Management Association (NY Chapter), and the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Committee on Healthcare Law. He earned his JD from New York Law School and a Bachelor of Business Administration, cum laude, from Baruch College.
