Charles Russell Speechlys appoints Justine Howard as General Counsel
"Charles Russell Speechlys appointed Justine Howard as General Counsel. She will lead governance, regulatory compliance and risk management, bringing over 20 years' senior legal experience from Pinsent Masons as Deputy GC and MLRO."
Howard joins from Pinsent Masons, where she served as Deputy General Counsel and Money Laundering Reporting Officer. She brings more than two decades of experience in senior legal roles and a deep understanding of law firm strategy and operations, aligning governance and compliance frameworks with strategic business goals.
At Charles Russell Speechlys she will be responsible for the firm’s strategic growth, governance, regulatory compliance and risk management. She will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and partners to align legal and business objectives and support the firm’s ambitions to grow safely and sustainably.
Howard has a particular interest in AI ethics and governance and is engaged in responsible business initiatives, women in leadership and workplace wellbeing.
