Christian Baker has joined Hanson Bridgett LLP as a partner in the firm’s Real Estate & Environment Section.

Baker is a versatile trial lawyer with extensive experience representing clients in complex business disputes across a broad range of industries, with a particular focus on real estate and banking/lender liability litigation. He has handled jury and bench trials in federal and state courts throughout California, as well as administrative proceedings and regulatory investigations. His practice also encompasses antitrust and unfair competition, securities, probate and trust disputes, corporate investigations, white collar defense, employment, and intellectual property litigation. Baker has tried cases to judgment and has litigated and resolved high-stakes matters for clients including major nonprofit foundations, community hospitals, homebuilders, investment companies, and global real estate and hospitality firms. He joins Hanson Bridgett with the seniority of partner.

Beyond his litigation practice, Baker is committed to pro bono service, representing asylum seekers, low-income tenants, and underserved San Franciscans. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA and law degree from Santa Clara University. His arrival is part of Hanson Bridgett’s continued strategic growth and investment in legal talent across key practice areas and California markets.
