Holland & Knight Adds Private Equity and M&A Partner Kristie Shu in Century City
"Holland & Knight adds Kristie Shu as a partner in Century City to its private equity, M&A and corporate governance practice; she joins from Kirkland & Ellis and will join the Legal Services Transactions Team."
Ms. Shu’s practice is concentrated in private equity, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate governance. She represents buyers, sellers, private equity funds and their portfolio companies in a range of business transactions, including M&A, leveraged buyouts, carve-outs, joint ventures, restructurings and other complex strategic transactions, and she advises clients on general corporate and governance matters. She joins Holland & Knight as a partner from Kirkland & Ellis, where she also served as a partner.
Ms. Shu will be a member of Holland & Knight’s Legal Services Transactions Team, which the firm describes as highly regarded for its sophisticated approach to law firm operations and as a market leader in management services organization (MSO) structuring, alternative business structures (ABS) and regulatory compliance. She is one of six recent additions to that legal services team.
Ms. Shu holds a J.D. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a B.A. from Claremont McKenna College.
