Mr. Katz advises publicly traded Fortune 500 companies, privately held businesses, private equity investors, corporate directors and officers, executives, employees, and entrepreneurs in a broad range of corporate disputes, including False Claims Act matters. An accomplished trial lawyer, he has tried 14 cases (12 to verdict), including eight since September 2020. He has represented clients in high-profile federal jury trials and in complex, high-stakes litigation and investigations across the pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare, technology, commercial real estate, securities, commodities, entertainment, sports gaming and consumer products sectors. He is recognized by Chambers USA, Benchmark Litigation, Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers.
Mr. Katz joins Kirkland & Ellis from Aaron Katz Law LLC, which he founded in 2022, after an 18-year career at Ropes & Gray LLP.
