Daniel Prieve Joins Clark Hill Banking & Financial Services Practice as Senior Counsel

Prieve is a former Counsel with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and brings more than a decade of experience advising on complex banking, regulatory, compliance, and enforcement matters. At the OCC he counseled bank examiners and agency leadership on matters affecting financial institutions, including merger and charter applications, enforcement actions, Bank Secrecy Act and anti‑money laundering compliance, regulatory developments, and supervisory issues. He also played a leading role in significant litigation, enforcement proceedings, policy initiatives, and the review of complex banking transactions.
Prieve earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School. He is admitted to practice in Colorado and before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the District of Columbia and Ninth Circuits.
