Fox Rothschild Adds Immigration Partner Kelli Meilink in Kansas City

Meilink focuses her practice on business immigration and immigration compliance for employers. She counsels companies, universities, healthcare organizations and nonprofits on hiring and retaining foreign national talent through temporary work visas, permanent residence processes and employer-sponsored work authorization programs. Clients turn to her for guidance on B-1/B-2, F-1, H-1B, TN, L-1, E-2, R-1 and H-2B visa matters, as well as labor certification and other permanent residence pathways. She also advises employers on Form I-9 practices, E-Verify participation, internal policies and responses to government audits or investigations involving immigration compliance. Her practice spans manufacturing, technology, engineering and agriculture, and she regularly counsels healthcare organizations on work authorization for physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals, as well as colleges and universities on immigration issues affecting students, faculty, researchers and other foreign national employees.
Recognized as a leader in the immigration field, Meilink was ranked in Chambers USA for Immigration Law in Missouri in 2026. She earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Kansas. Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, Meilink was a partner at Husch Blackwell and she joins Fox Rothschild with partner-level seniority.
