Browne Jacobson strengthens All-Island life sciences platform with appointment of Kevin Moore

Kevin Moore has been appointed Commercial Partner at Browne Jacobson. Over the past 15 years he has advised companies across the full business lifecycle—from early-stage innovation and investment through commercialisation and market entry to strategic transactions and exit—with particular focus on the manufacturing, supply and commercial arrangements that underpin life science products. His practice concentrates on commercial agreements, intellectual property arrangements, research collaborations and investment transactions for MedTech and diagnostics businesses. Based in Galway, Moore founded DeNovo Legal, a specialist adviser to emerging and scaling companies in Galway and Ireland’s life sciences cluster, and is an alumnus of the University of Galway BioInnovate Fellowship Programme. He joins Browne Jacobson’s Ireland team to work alongside Dublin-based Corporate Partners Will Darmody and Gavin Bluett and Corporate Associate Chiara Quondamatteo.
Chris Holder was recently appointed from Bristows and brings expertise in life sciences technology and artificial intelligence. The firm has described his hire, together with Moore’s, as part of a sustained investment to build a market-leading UK and Ireland life sciences practice.
The appointments coincide with Browne Jacobson’s establishment of a presence in Belfast and the firm’s development of an integrated Ireland capability spanning Galway, Dublin and Belfast to advise life sciences clients from early commercial contracts through to cross-border transactions, fundraisings and regulatory matters.
