Seyfarth Shaw LLP Expands Seattle Labor & Employment Team with Partner Meg Burnham and Six Hires
"Seyfarth Shaw LLP adds partner Meg Burnham and six labor and employment lawyers to its Seattle Labor & Employment practice to bolster wage-and-hour and employment capabilities."
All five lawyers joining from Davis Wright Tremaine are Meg Burnham (partner), Scott Prange (senior counsel), Darrah Hinton (senior counsel), Rebecca Lynch (counsel) and Lo Nelson (associate). Burnham is a trial‑focused employment lawyer who defends organizations in complex, high‑exposure matters, including single‑plaintiff disputes, wage and hour and pay‑transparency class actions, agency investigations, and industrial insurance assessments; she represents employers across industries such as healthcare, aviation, technology, retail, food and beverage, transportation, and nonprofits. Prange brings extensive federal and state courtroom experience defending employers in high‑stakes class actions, multiplaintiff disputes, and single‑plaintiff litigation, represents clients before government agencies, and advises employers in highly regulated industries including health care. Hinton leads employers through the full life cycle of traditional labor law matters — collective bargaining, contract administration, grievance and interest arbitration, unfair labor practice charges and trials before the NLRB and state labor boards such as Washington’s PERC — conducts workplace investigations, and represents employers in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination matters in court and before state and federal agencies. Lynch joins Seyfarth as counsel from Davis Wright Tremaine, and Nelson joins as an associate from Davis Wright Tremaine.
Kathleen Grossman joins Seyfarth’s Seattle Labor & Employment practice as an associate from Troutman Pepper Locke.
Katie Gould joins the firm as an associate from Skidmore & Fomina.
The additions build on the firm’s recent hires of employment litigators Kathryn (Katie) Rosen and Devin Smith and are intended to strengthen Seyfarth’s wage and hour and employment capabilities across the Pacific Northwest and nationally.
