FreitasLeite appoints Daniella Raigorodsky Monteiro as partner
"FreitasLeite has named Daniella Raigorodsky Monteiro as partner to strengthen its Corporate Law, M&A, Corporate Governance and Risk Management practices."
Monteiro brings more than 25 years of experience advising Brazilian and multinational companies, family-owned groups and investors on corporate and M&A transactions, corporate restructuring projects and governance matters. She will focus on listed and privately held companies, boards of directors, investors and strategic business groups. During her career she worked at full-service firms including BMA - Barbosa, Mussnich & Aragao and Clifford Chance, was a partner at Campos Mello Advogados (in cooperation with DLA Piper), and spent nearly 11 years at Tauil & Chequer Advogados (in association with Mayer Brown), where she worked on M&A, Corporate Law and Corporate Governance matters.
A graduate in Law from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, Monteiro holds a specialization from the University of Cambridge and has completed executive training in corporate governance at Saint Paul Escola de Negocios, as well as executive programs at the Instituto Brasileiro de Governanca Corporativa (IBGC), the London School of Economics and SDA Bocconi. Based in Sao Paulo, she will have a cross-practice role at FreitasLeite, connecting different areas of the firm and expanding its capacity to offer integrated solutions on strategic decisions, corporate structuring, transactions, governance and risk management. She has also served on boards of directors, fiscal councils and advisory councils.
