Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer welcomes infrastructure partner Marcus Davenport in Melbourne
"Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer has appointed Marcus Davenport as a partner in its projects, energy and infrastructure (PEI) team in Melbourne. He joins from Clayton Utz to work on private‑side infrastructure procurement matters."
Marcus brings three decades of experience at Clayton Utz. He specialises in projects, energy and infrastructure and has extensive experience leading private‑side infrastructure procurement matters across Australia. He joins HSF Kramer’s PEI partnership in Melbourne as a partner and becomes part of the firm’s global PEI team of more than 50 partners. Marcus said he looks forward to supporting both private and public sector clients on multi‑billion‑dollar, nation‑building projects.
His appointment follows the PEI practice’s expansion into Asia and the firm’s recent promotions of four energy and infrastructure partners in Australia: Tom Dougherty, Skye Kirby, Stuart Robertson and Bailee Walker.
