Ropes & Gray Expands European Private Capital Team with Partner Paul Dali

Paul joins Ropes & Gray from EQT Group, a global investment firm and a Ropes & Gray client, where he served as managing director and group general counsel, M&A and Investments. He will be based in London and work from the firm’s European platform comprising its London, Milan, Paris and Dublin offices, collaborating with colleagues across Europe, Asia and the US. Paul brings extensive experience in international M&A with a particular emphasis on private equity and asset management M&A transactions. While at EQT Group he led acquisitions of asset management firms including Baring Private Equity Asia and Exeter Property Group. His practice covers private and public M&A—with a focus on private buy-outs and take-private transactions—as well as portfolio management, corporate governance, transactional regulatory matters and fund formation.
Paul will join and work alongside Ropes & Gray’s European private equity transactions team of ten partners, further strengthening the firm’s European private capital capability.
