Cleary Gottlieb appoints Naomi Burgoyne from the Competition and Markets Authority to its London competition team

Burgoyne brings more than 15 years of experience at the forefront of complex merger cases and investigations. Most recently she served as Senior Director of Mergers at the CMA and played a pivotal role in shaping the CMA’s landmark reset of UK merger control. She will join Cleary’s competition practice as a partner, specialising in antitrust and mergers, bringing deep technical expertise, strategic judgment and senior regulatory leadership from her prior role at the CMA.
