Baker Botts Adds Partner Regina Pearson in Austin

Pearson joins Baker Botts from Greenberg Traurig, where she served as a shareholder focused on energy project development. She joins Baker Botts as a partner and will work within the firm's energy projects practice, with a focus on project development and construction.
Pearson has worked on energy projects exceeding $50 billion in value across North America, South America, Africa and Australia, covering LNG, power, hydrogen, data centers, transition fuels, petrochemicals and renewables. She advises clients across the full project lifecycle, including front-end engineering and design agreements, EPC contracts, joint ventures and the commercial structures that carry projects from concept to operations. She previously co-chaired the infrastructure team and co-led the energy asset class at Faegre Drinker and earlier held senior in-house counsel roles at McDermott International Inc. and CB&I, where she negotiated agreements for energy and processing facilities and joint venture agreements. Pearson also chairs the Infrastructure, Energy & Environment Division of the American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law.
