ArentFox Schiff Adds Nationally Recognized Trademark and Brands Team and Opens Silicon Valley Office

Jason Garcia joins ArentFox Schiff as a Partner. He is a highly experienced trademark attorney whose practice centers on trademark counseling, clearance, prosecution, portfolio management, and enforcement in the United States and internationally. His experience spans consumer electronics, retail and online marketplaces, sports, food and beverage, wine and spirits, apparel, financial services, and internet-based services. His background includes service as an examining attorney at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Garcia arrives from Reed Smith, LLP.
Justine Lee joins ArentFox Schiff as a Partner. Her practice encompasses strategic global brand protection, trademark portfolio management, clearance, and enforcement across industries such as technology, financial services, real estate, health care, transportation, hospitality, cosmetics, beverage and food, and advertising. She has handled complex trademark transactions and cross-border enforcement matters, domain name and social media disputes, UDRP proceedings, online brand protection, copyright registrations, and DMCA takedowns, and her work is informed by prior in‑house experience on the intellectual property team of a global retail clothing conglomerate.
