Hoffmann Liebs appoints Daniel Strotkemper as Partner in Insurance Law
"Hoffmann Liebs appoints Daniel Strotkemper as partner in its insurance law team. He joins from Eversheds Sutherland Germany and will work on insurance and liability matters, including technical, product liability, D&O and trade credit insurance."
Mr. Strotkemper joins Hoffmann Liebs from Eversheds Sutherland Germany, where he spent nine years in the insurance and product liability department in Düsseldorf, most recently as a Senior Associate. In that role he gained extensive experience leading complex disputes.
His professional focus is on insurance and liability law. He advises comprehensively on industrial insurance, in particular technical insurance, product liability insurance, D&O insurance and trade credit insurance. In liability matters he represents clients both in enforcing claims against tortfeasors and in defending payment claims.
Mr. Strotkemper also has particular expertise in private construction law and contract-for-work law. He advises principals and contractors, especially on the drafting and implementation of complex contracts in large plant construction.
He will work closely with partners Marcel Kirchhartz and Dr. Roland Erne and will drive the strategic expansion of the practice. Hoffmann Liebs’ management, Martin Stange and Raoul Mosel, said the firm gains an experienced and highly specialised colleague who will strengthen the insurance law practice, particularly in complex loss cases.
