Based in New York, Salins has 25 years of experience counseling clients on employee issues arising in complex corporate transactions, including mergers, stock and asset purchases, divestitures and spin-offs, joint ventures, restructurings, and other transformative business events. Her practice focuses on labor and employment matters in the transactional context; she advises on assessing target companies’ employment law compliance and risks, negotiates employee-related provisions in purchase agreements, handles labor union considerations, leads workforce transitions and reductions in force, and resolves post-acquisition employment matters.
Salins also negotiates and prepares sophisticated employment-related agreements, manages sensitive executive separations, and advises on non-compete and other restrictive covenant matters in employment, equity, and transaction documents. She has guided public and privately held companies, private equity sponsors, and portfolio companies across industries including healthcare and life sciences, financial services, technology and artificial intelligence, energy, food and beverage, media and entertainment, education, and retail.
