Felsberg Advogados appoints Joao Sartini as partner in Rio de Janeiro

Sartini joins Felsberg from BNY Mellon and previously worked at the law firms Vieira Rezende and Lampert Advogados. His practice covers corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, private equity and corporate governance, with a focus on advising companies, executives and investors on the structuring and execution of strategic transactions, including matters involving regulated entities and interactions with the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) and the Central Bank.
He also has experience in transactions across the financial, mining, energy and infrastructure sectors. The hire is part of the firm’s ongoing effort to expand its footprint in Rio de Janeiro and reinforce its Corporate Law capabilities in the region.
