Reed Smith appoints Mohammed Basama as partner in Middle East Corporate Group

Basama has built a practice advising sovereign wealth funds, family offices, private equity funds and corporates on cross-border M&A, joint ventures, reorganisations and corporate governance matters across the region. He joins Reed Smith from King & Spalding.
The appointment comes as Reed Smith continues to scale its Middle East corporate platform amid what the firm describes as increased inbound deal flow across the Gulf.
