K&L Gates Expands Intellectual Property Platform in Munich with Partners Dr. Christian Wende and Markus Eustermann

Dr. Christian Wende focuses his practice on patent, trademark, design and utility model matters, with particular experience advising innovative companies in the medical technology and automotive sectors. His work includes patent prosecution, opposition and invalidation proceedings, infringement matters, and intellectual property due diligence in connection with mergers and acquisitions and venture capital transactions. Wende joins K&L Gates as an intellectual property partner from WENDE IP, which he co-founded.
Markus Eustermann advises clients on patent prosecution, post-grant proceedings and patent litigation, including proceedings before the Unified Patent Court (UPC). His experience spans a broad range of advanced technologies, including medical devices, automotive technologies, software-related inventions and nanotechnology. A German and European patent lawyer and a European patent litigator, he regularly advises innovation-driven businesses on protecting and enforcing intellectual property rights in Germany and across Europe. Eustermann joins K&L Gates as an intellectual property partner from WENDE IP, which he co-founded.
