Wright’s practice concentrates on the tax aspects of complex, high‑dollar tax equity transactions in the renewable energy sector and on project development transactions. He also has experience in traditional energy, equipment leasing and aerospace leasing and finance. Wright regularly advises investors and developers on start‑of‑construction matters, prevailing wage and apprenticeship compliance, placed‑in‑service issues, tax credit transfers and energy credit, production tax credit and other tax credit qualification issues. He joins Akin Gump as a partner from Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP.
