Kabir Duggal joins Akin Gump as a partner in the firm’s international arbitration group. New York-based, he will help strengthen the firm’s international arbitration capabilities and contribute to the expansion of its Latin American disputes practice. Duggal has observed that increased business activity in Latin America is likely to generate disputes.
Felipe Nazar Pagani joins Akin Gump as a partner in the international arbitration group. Also New York-based, he will work on arbitration matters and support the growth of the firm’s Latin American disputes practice. Pagani described his move as an opportunity to “offer top-notch advice for the arbitration itself while also drawing from the deep bench of practitioners in the public interest group that can assist clients to get the best resolutions for their matters.”
