Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP adds Molly (Brimmer) Lolli to health policy team

With a decade of public and private sector experience, Lolli joins Akin from the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce, where she served as Senior Counsel on the Health Subcommittee. She handled a wide range of issues involving the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR), the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Lolli played an instrumental role in developing and advancing major public health legislation and reauthorization bills, including the reauthorizations of the Pandemic and All-Hazards Preparedness Act (PAHPA), the Substance Use Disorder Prevention that Promotes Opioid Recovery and Treatment for Patients and Communities (SUPPORT) Act, and the Over-the-Counter Monograph Drug User Fee Program (OMUFA). She also contributed to budget and tax efforts including the 2025 budget reconciliation process and the Working Families Tax Cut Act. At Akin she will serve in the firm’s health policy practice as a senior policy advisor.
Her Capitol Hill experience further includes senior health policy roles for Representatives Richard Hudson (R-NC) and Andy Harris (R-MD). Earlier in her career she worked in government relations at Cardinal Health, providing additional perspective on the policy and regulatory dynamics affecting the health care and life sciences industry.
