Rachel Phillips Joins Paul, Weiss as Capital Markets Partner in New York

Phillips advises public companies, private equity sponsors and underwriters on a range of capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings (IPOs), follow-on offerings and mergers and acquisitions. She has represented a diverse client base — including public company issuers, private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, underwriters and selling shareholders — on transactions ranging from large-scale cross-border IPOs to registered direct offerings.
Phillips joins Paul, Weiss as a partner. She has been recognized by Legal 500 and IFLR1000 for her capital markets work since 2023. Phillips earned an A.B. from Princeton University and a J.D., magna cum laude, from Boston University School of Law, where she served as Executive Editor of the Review of Banking and Financial Law.
