Proskauer Welcomes Jeff Pash as Partner in Sports Group

Pash joins Proskauer as a partner after nearly three decades as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of the National Football League, a role he held from 1997 to 2025. In that position he oversaw antitrust and other litigation matters, complex investigations, labor relations, the development of the NFL’s private equity and debt rules, and the evolving legal and commercial issues facing professional sports organizations.
Before joining the NFL, Pash served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of the National Hockey League, where he acted as the senior legal and policy advisor to the commissioner on league governance, disputes and strategic initiatives. At Proskauer he will work in the Sports Group advising on complex litigation, antitrust, labor relations, private capital and other strategic issues at the intersection of law, business and sports.
