DLA Piper adds Partners Kfir Abutbul, Jacob Durkin and Kristine Manoukian and appoints Brady Lambeth Of Counsel

Kfir Abutbul joins DLA Piper as a Partner in the Global Capital Solutions practice and is based in the firm’s New York office. He advises private equity sponsors, credit funds and institutional investors across the lifecycle of private capital investments, from acquisition and investment structuring through workouts, restructurings and exits. His practice focuses on complex capital solutions, including participating and non-participating preferred equity, convertible instruments, holding company payment-in-kind structures and other hybrid financing products. He has particular experience in the energy transition and infrastructure sectors, advising on transactions involving power generation, battery storage technologies, critical minerals and decarbonization infrastructure, and has represented clients across the United States, Western Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
Jacob Durkin has joined the Global Capital Solutions practice in London as a Partner. He focuses on domestic and cross-border private credit, syndicated lending and special situations transactions, including leveraged and acquisition financings, fund-level financings and asset-backed transactions.
Kristine Manoukian has joined DLA Piper in New York as a Partner in the Restructuring practice. She advises clients on complex creditor-side matters, distressed investments, liability management transactions, workouts and Chapter 11 restructurings, bringing deep experience across the full spectrum of distressed situations.
Brady Lambeth has been appointed Of Counsel and is based in Houston. He worked closely with Kfir Abutbul and will join a group of Of Counsels recently added to the Capital Solutions team, including Nate Sherman, Grant Ogulnick and Alex Cavayero in New York, Henry Spalding in Boston and George Burt in London.
The firm said the appointments further cement DLA Piper’s position in the evolving capital solutions market and expand its global capability to deliver cross-border financing, liquidity and capital deployment strategies.
