Jones Day Strengthens Financial Markets Practice with Three Hires in London and Dallas

Harjeet Lall joins Jones Day in London as a partner. She brings significant experience in securitization and structured finance, with a particular focus on advising banks and private credit funds on warehouse financings, mortgage loan transactions, cross-border receivables programs, back-leverage structures, and repack programs. Her cross-border practice spans a range of asset classes. Recent engagements include advising on a securitization warehouse financing of non-performing mortgage loans with an outstanding balance of €4 billion, a €392 million public securitization of reperforming Spanish mortgage loans, and a $500 million repo mortgage loans transaction structured as a securitization. Ms. Lall was ranked in Legal 500 as a Next Generation Partner for securitization in London 2026 and is a frequent panel speaker at the Global ABS conference. She holds an LLB and LLM in Law from the London School of Economics and an MA in Ancient History from the University of Bristol.
Charlotte Lewis-Williams joins Jones Day in London as a partner. She brings almost 20 years of experience advising on complex, multi-jurisdictional finance matters including direct lending, private credit, leveraged finance, fund finance, infrastructure and sports finance, with clients that have included multinational banks, credit funds, non-bank lenders, sponsors and corporates. Her recent matters include advising a sponsor on data center financing in Europe; an alternative lender on NAV facilities for a US/UK live entertainment company; a consortium of institutional investors and the placement agent on the issuance of €424 million notes to support reconstruction of FC Barcelona’s Camp Nou stadium; and institutional investors and bank lenders on a €332 million financing package to redevelop Valencia’s stadium. She previously spent three years as Corporate Counsel at an affiliate of a global asset management firm and has completed secondments at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse. Mrs. Lewis-Williams is recommended in Legal 500 UK 2025 for Acquisition Finance and is recognized for her Fund Finance and Sports Finance practices. She holds an MA in Modern and Medieval Languages from the University of Cambridge and an LLB from The University of Law.
Hope Schall joins Jones Day in Dallas as of counsel. She brings nearly three decades of financial services regulatory experience, having served as in-house regulatory counsel at a diversified financial company, a leading global investment bank, a large national bank holding company with over $200 billion in assets, and at Comerica Bank, where she most recently served as Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel. Prior to those roles she served nearly 11 years at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, advising on payments and on the supervision and regulation of banks and holding companies. Her experience spans prudential and consumer regulatory matters, payments and product development, mergers and acquisitions and investments, regulatory remediation and enforcement, and governance and risk management frameworks. Ms. Schall holds a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law and an LL.M. in Financial Services from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
