Leonardo Bafunno joins Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer as a senior associate in Milan. He brings over ten years’ experience in securitisation and structured finance, with extensive experience in structured finance transactions including securitisations across multiple asset classes, financing transactions, Italian UTP and NPL portfolio disposals, and investments in UTP exposures through closed-ended alternative investment funds.
Paolo Bossini joins the firm as an associate in Milan. He has over ten years’ experience in securitisation and structured finance and advises clients on securitisation transactions, including private, real estate and synthetic structures, as well as transactions involving trade receivables.
These appointments form part of Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer’s strategy to consolidate and expand its transactional capabilities in Italy, enhancing the Italy Banking & Finance practice led by partner Emanuela Da Rin.
