Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer appoints corporate partner James Campbell in Tokyo

Qualified in New York, Campbell specialises in M&A and other corporate transactions and has significant experience across a range of industries and market sectors, including renewable energy, real estate, automotive, manufacturing, consumer products and financial services.
He joins Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer from Nishimura & Asahi, where he moved in 2019 after relocating to Tokyo. Campbell worked at legacy Kramer Levin in New York for five years prior to his move to Japan and began his career at Farris, Vaughan, Wills & Murphy LLP in Vancouver. He was admitted in New York in 2012 and is licensed to advise in Japan as a Gaikokuho Jimu Bengoshi.
