Arnold & Porter Adds Partner Brian Hill to Strengthen ITC Litigation Practice

"Arnold & Porter has hired partner Brian Hill into its Intellectual Property practice in Washington, D.C., to bolster U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) litigation work in technology and life sciences."

Brian Hill has joined Arnold & Porter as a partner in the Intellectual Property practice, focusing on U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) matters and based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.

Brian is an intellectual property litigator specializing in cross-border technology and life sciences disputes, with a significant portion of his practice devoted to unfair import investigations before the ITC. He has extensive experience spanning dozens of Section 337 matters and has handled patent and trademark cases as well as ITC matters involving trade secret theft, unfair competition under the Lanham Act, and antitrust allegations. In life sciences, he has used Section 337 to address counterfeit medical devices entering the U.S. supply chain and falsely advertised or mislabeled pharmaceuticals. Earlier in his career, he worked at the U.S. International Trade Commission and at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Brian joins Arnold & Porter as a partner from another Am Law 100 firm, where he also served as a partner. He will work within the firm’s Intellectual Property practice to expand its ITC capabilities, particularly in the technology and life sciences industries. Brian holds a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Maryland School of Law, an M.A. from Columbia University, and a B.S. from the University of Delaware.
