Freshfields appoints Christine Vreede as litigation partner in Amsterdam for mass claims and commercial litigation

Vreede is a class actions and commercial litigation specialist with over 20 years of experience advising on complex, high-value disputes. She represents multinational corporates, financial institutions, private capital firms and companies across sectors. She will join Freshfields’ Amsterdam disputes team as a partner, bringing expertise in collective actions and cross-border commercial litigation.
Freshfields has a leading mass claims and class action practice in the Netherlands, a jurisdiction active in class litigation. Firm leaders said Vreede’s experience in mass claims, EU consumer law and product liability strengthens the firm’s Mass Claims and Class Action offering in Amsterdam and will support the continued growth of its global disputes practice. Vreede said she looks forward to applying her experience in complex commercial litigation and collective actions to help clients navigate high‑stakes, cross‑border disputes.
