APFL Partners strengthens Dispute Resolution and Arbitration practice with arrival of Minh Nguyen as Partner

Minh Nguyen brings more than 15 years of experience and is recognised for her expertise in commercial litigation, international arbitration and employment disputes. She advises and represents multinational and domestic clients in complex, high-value disputes before arbitral institutions including the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), and regularly advises on executive employment disputes and strategic risk management across industries such as manufacturing, consumer goods and other regulated sectors. Before joining APFL Partners, Minh was Special Counsel and Head of the Dispute Resolution Practice at one of Vietnam’s leading law firms specialising in arbitration and dispute resolution. Earlier in her career she spent more than a decade with leading international law firms and multinational corporations, including Gide Loyrette Nouel and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Minh is a Fulbright Scholar with an LL.M. in International Commercial Arbitration from Pepperdine University and attended the intensive International Commercial Arbitration course at Harvard Law School in 2023. She is a member of the Young SIAC Committee (YSIAC), a member of the Science Council of VIAC, serves as Vietnam Representative of the Asia‑Pacific Forum for International Arbitration (AFIA), and has been an Adjunct Lecturer since 2019 in the Master of Civil Law programme jointly run by the University of Economics and Law of Vietnam and the University of Paris 1 Panthéon‑Sorbonne. She is individually ranked in the Chambers Asia‑Pacific Guide 2026 for Dispute Resolution. As Head of the practice, Minh will lead the continued development of APFL Partners’ contentious capabilities in Vietnam and coordinate with LPA Law teams across Asia and Europe on cross-border disputes, international arbitration and strategic risk management.
