Baker Donelson Welcomes Hannah McSween Cole as Of Counsel in Health Law Group in Knoxville
"Hannah McSween Cole has rejoined Baker Donelson as of counsel in its Health Law Group in Knoxville, where she will advise on health care transactions, regulatory, operational and compliance matters."
Ms. Cole advises hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, physician groups, specialty practices and other health care organizations on a broad range of transactional, regulatory and operational matters. She brings extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, management services organization structures, value-based arrangements and other strategic business transactions, as well as day-to-day operational and compliance counseling. She will join Baker Donelson with the seniority of of counsel.
Prior to rejoining Baker Donelson, Ms. Cole served as chief legal officer of a large physician organization, where she advised on legal, compliance, governance and business matters. Her prior in-house experience as chief legal officer of one of Tennessee’s largest independent physician groups informs her practical, business-focused approach to advising providers. Ms. Cole holds a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and a B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Samford University, and has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for Mergers and Acquisitions and selected to Mid-South Rising Stars in Business/Corporate.
