Murad Hussain Joins AGG as Partner and Chair of FARA Compliance

Hussain’s practice represents healthcare providers, life sciences companies and domestic and international clients in government investigations, healthcare enforcement matters, cross-border litigation, FARA compliance, export controls, customs and international trade matters. He has worked for over a decade with clients to use their own data to promote internal compliance and to challenge the government’s use of data analytics and statistics in investigations and trials. He is joining AGG as a partner and chair of FARA Compliance.
Hussain said he was drawn to AGG by the firm’s depth in healthcare, life sciences and cross-border matters and by its longstanding decision not to represent healthcare payors. He noted that AGG’s nationally recognized healthcare platform and international capabilities complement his work advising clients on False Claims Act investigations, cross-border regulatory issues and international trade matters.
